Terms and Conditions


Please refer to the following terms and conditions for all business trading with AVP Training.

AVP Training reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.


Course Fees

1. All course fees on this website and any quotes provided by AVP Training are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of 10% GST.

2. Half-day training courses will be charged at 75% of the standard full day online rate.

3. Prices quoted online and via verbal/emailed quotes are for onsite training delivered in Melbourne and metropolitan area.

4. Additional travel fees (ATO kilometre rate) and accommodation fees (where applicable) will apply for regional training.

5. Fees are fully payable in Australian dollars (inclusive of GST) a minimum of 10 business days prior to course commencement.

Course Details

1. Standard course timings (negotiable)

Ÿ    Full day training sessions:  9:00am - 4:30pm

    Half day training sessions: 9:00am - 12:30pm and/or 1:00pm - 4:30pm

2. A maximum of 10 attendees applies for each group training course.

3. Training equipment, software, training material and course exercise files requirements for each training day

    All clients must provide the following for each training course:

    1. A suitable training venue (room with adequate ventilation, heating/cooling as required, lighting and power)

    2. A PC/laptop with all necessary software installed and configured for training for each course participant

    3. A projector with a suitable screen and projector to laptop connection cables

    For most courses the course trainer will supply their own laptop for training with all required software and course files loaded.

    Certain courses may require the client to provide the trainer with a pc/laptop with all necessary software installed and configured for training
    (for example: Microsoft Outlook training).

    Printed training material, training exercise files and certificate(s) of attendance are provided for all instructor-led training courses.

   Course exercise files can be supplied on the day of training via usb drive or downloaded prior to training by clicking here.

    AVP Training is not responsible for the content of course exercise files and therefore does not guarantee that these course files will be free of
    viruses, worms, Trojan horses or any other code that is contaminating or destructive in nature and will not held liable for any related losses incurred.

4. Registration and training evaluation forms

    All necessary registration and training evaluation forms will be supplied by the trainer on the day(s) of training.

    A copy of these forms can be made via photocopy/scanned image for client records at the conclusion of training.


Course Bookings, Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refund Policy

1. All course participants must satisfy course prerequisites (as stated in online course descriptions) and participant substitution can be made
     free of charge at any time up to and including the date(s) of training delivery.

    Please note that AVP Training makes no guarantee as to the appropriateness of any training course(s) selected or agreed to by the client
    and will not be held liable for any loss of profit suffered directly or indirectly following any training course(s) attended by the client.

2. AVP Training reserves the right to modify course content, limit participant numbers and cancel course(s).

    In the case of a course cancellation due to, but not limited to, the illness of the trainer, notification in writing will be made (where possible)
    a minimum five (5) business days prior to the course commencement date.

    A full refund of any fees paid by the client relevant to the cancelled course(s) will be offered otherwise alternative training date(s) will be arranged.
    This decision will be at the client's discretion.

3. Course cancellation(s) / rescheduling for application/desktop courses by the client will only be accepted in writing with a minimum notice of
    five (5) full business days before the scheduled course commencement date(s).

    A full refund of payment received or alternative training date(s) will be offered accordingly.

4. Cancellations received within five (5) full business days will be subject to 100% course fee forfeiture and any outstanding fees remain payable.


Email Support Conditions

1. Email support is available to all instructor-led training course participants of courses delivered by AVP Training for 12 months
    from the date of course completion.

2. Support queries must relate to topics covered in the course(s) attended by the person making the query.

3. Support queries must be emailed to and include the following details:

    Participant's Name;


    Course Attended;

    Course Date; and


4. AVP Training will normally respond to support queries within 24 hours.


Privacy Policy

Collection and Use of Personal Information

1. All personal information collected via conversations, printed media and email is used as required for the following purposes:

     •  Direct business communication

    •  Course registrations

    •  Course feedback

    •  Testimonials (where consent has been obtained from the individual via course feedback forms)

    •  Communication between AVP Training and its suppliers for training materials distribution

    •  Equipment and software suppliers (where hiring for training is required and agreed to in writing)

    •  Direct marketing

    •  When authorised or required by law AVP Training can disclose any information about you to law enforcement or other government officials

2. AVP Training will not otherwise disclose your personal information to any other party without your consent


Storage, Security and Deletion of Personal Information

1. In conjunction with our technology suppliers AVP Training operates secure data networks for all data storage and transmission.

2. We also have security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure of personal information
    under our control.

3. Notwithstanding the fact that all reasonable steps are taken to protect your personal data we cannot guarantee the security of any data you disclose online.    
    Therefore you accept the inherent security implications of transmitting personal information online over the internet and will not hold AVP Training
    or its suppliers responsible for any breach of security.

4. When personal information is no longer required for operational or legal reasons it will be permanently deleted.


Accessing and Changing Your Personal Information

1. AVP Training attempts to ensure that all personal information collected and stored in its database system is correct and accurate.

    You may request access to the information we have collected from you which will be forwarded within 5 business days.

2. If you wish to change personal information that is incorrect or wish to have your personal information deleted please contact us using the details below.

    Unless personal information is required for administrative or legal reasons we will take all reasonable steps to meet such requests at the earliest
    possible opportunity.

Privacy Complaints Resolution

1. If at any time you wish to lodge a complaint in respect of the handling, use or disclosure of your personal information by AVP Training
